Woman Bitten By Random Home Invader At Bankstown
Man attempts to flee with her wallet
A man has been charged after a woman received a knock at the door before having her wallet stolen and arm bitten in broad daylight at Bankstown.
At around 3pm on Wednesday, the 25-year-old woman answered her door before a man forced entry into her house; rummaging through her belongings and attempting to get away with her wallet.
The woman went after him, but was bitten on the arm by the man.
She was able to retrieve some of her bank cards before the man left the scene after a neighbour said he had called police.
The woman attended Bankstown Police Station to report the incident. She sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
A 56 year old man has been arrested and charged.
