A 23-year-old provisional driver has been charged with a string of offences, after she was allegedly caught drink-driving in Orange early yesterday.

Around 1:40am (15th April, 2018), police followed an unregistered Holden Commodore Sedan, travelling on Glenroi Avenue, to a service station on Bathurst Road.

Police will allege in court that a two-year-old boy was unrestrained in the rear passenger seat, and no child seat was fitted in the vehicle.

After returning a positive result in a roadside breath test, the woman was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station, where she underwent a breath analysis and allegedly returned a reading of 0.112.

Her license was suspended, and she was charged with mid-range PCA, driver state false name or home address, use unregistered motor vehicle, and drive with child not restrained.

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Tuesday the 15th of May.

Police have reported the matter to Family and Community Services (FACS).
