A woman in her 20s was airlifted to hospital after a single vehicle crash at Tregony last night.
Fire fighters had to free the woman from the car after it crashed down an embankment on the Cunningham Highway around 7PM.
She sustained serious injuries to her ribs, leg and arm while a male in his 30s travelling with her sustained broken ribs.
Both were taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition with the woman later airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The crash caused lanes in both directions to close.
