Woman's Body Found in Rural Victoria

Police are investigating following the discovery of a woman’s body at Wickliffe in southwest Victoria.

A resident found the body next to a burnt-out car on Monday afternoon, and called emergency services to Chatsworth-Wickliffe Road, shortly after 3 pm.

While the body is yet to be formally identified, officers believe it to be missing an 84-year-old Timboon woman, who was last seen on June 10.

Her Maltese Shih Tzu was found safe and well nearby.
