Woman's Hand Caught In Machinery At Molendinar Workplace
Fears she could lose it
A serious workplace incident could result in a woman losing her hand.
Emergency services were called to an address on Production Avenue at Molendinar around 7.27am on Wednesday with reports someone's hand had become caught in machinery.
Paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit treated the woman in her 50s at the scene before taking her to Gold Coast University Hospital under lights and sirens.
She was suffering from a significant hand injury.
