As the Royal Flying Doctor Service celebrates their 94th birthday, Aussies are sharing the stories of how the service helped them

Suze in Mackay was looking worse for wear when her car flipped and landed on top of her, but some quick thinking passerby's and the incredible AFDS had her back up and running in no time.

The Royal Flying Doctors Service began operations in Cloncurry, QLD back in 1928.

They are a not-for-profit that provides emergency and primary health care services for those living in rural, remote and regional areas of Australia who cannot access a hospital or medical care due to the vast distances of the outback.
