There are reports online that suggest work on a museum dedicated to the life and times of Australia's INXS will begin shortly, in the regional NSW town of Ballina.

The Music Network has reported that long-time INXS manager, Christopher M. Murphy, has confirmed the exciting news for INXS and Aussie music fans.

According to reports, the 3 acre complex will feature a number of buildings that, viewed from the air, will spell INXS.

The main "X" building will be the venue for the actual INXS memorabilia, rumoured to number around the 10,000 mark. It will also include spaces where local musicians can write songs and cut demos.

Apparently, the main feature of the INXS museum will be the "Wembley Room", dedicated to their iconic Wembley Stadium headline gig in 1991, where 70,000 plus Poms absolutely went off to a band at the top of their powers.

According to the report, holograms will recreate their legendary gig. This excites us greatly.

The complex will also reportedly serve as a hub for the arts, supporting film, music, design, fashion, tech and sustainable agriculture companies.
