All 600 workers are back on the job at the Jewel Towers site in Surfers Paradise today with a safety audit now complete.

Work halted last mid-week when a heavy metal pipe fell on three workers, landing them all in hospital.

Some workers have been back on the job since Friday, with the night shift given the all clear last night and the full workforce returning to the job on Tuesday.

Felicity Moore from the Real Estate Institute of Queensland said the construction delays could have a flow on effect to unit prices at the towers down the track.

"It can impact on the cost to the developer," said Moore.

"Then that makes it a little bit harder for them to make the profitable sale at the end of the project.

"So it can impact the price when there are projects that have problems like this."

It came amid fears up to a sixth of the workers left could be out of job by Christmas.
