As the government continues to impose restrictions to restrict the spread of COVID-19 we are reminded to do everything in our power to assist that process.

With the growing rates of infection, one positive we can take is the wealth of advice from those who have recovered from or are recovering from the disease. One of those recovering is Senator Susan McDonald

Known well to Brisbane as the former boss of Super Butcher, Susan McDonald is now a sitting senator for Queensland.

Speaking from isolation to The Big Breakfast this morning, Senator McDonald broke down the process of contracting the disease and the necessary actions that followed.

“I had a dusty throat and a bit of temperature on Friday the Thirteenth would you believe it? I thought jeez, the number of people I see, I can’t risk this”

What McDonald had to say next should be considered a crucial piece of advice in preventing the spread of this disease

Senator McDonald remains isolation despite two recent negative swabs, choosing instead to work from home.
