Young woman crushed to death on Hinterland farm

A woman has been killed in a freak farming accident on a property at Tamborine Mountain.

Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to the property on MacDonnell Road around 11:30am on Friday.

It's believed a woman in her 20s was crushed by a large piece of farming machinery, and died on scene.

Police are now investigating.
