ZERO Ambulances Available On The Coast For People Who Call 000

It seems impossible to think, but for several hours yesterday there were no ambulances available for people who needed them on the Central Coast. The worrying thing is, this is looking likely to happen again.

Intensive care paramedic from the Australian paramedic’s union Brett Simpson joined 107.7 Triple M’s Paddy and Rob Palmer to explain what is going on.

‘At about 1pm yesterday afternoon, zero ambulances in the entire central coast & zero ambulances in the greater Newcastle area’ he said ‘There’s no sugar coating it, it is an absolute disaster’.
