This is a game changer.

Red Rooster have announced they're trialling alcohol deliveries from selected Victorian stores.

“With summer and party season approaching, Red Rooster is now putting a trial in place,” the press release said.

The delivery service offers an array of beer, wine, rum, vodka, or bourbon, but the orders are limited to a six-pack or bottle of wine per order.

The research team from Red Rooster said their drinks menu “represents the perfect pairing” for the items on their menu.

As it stands, alcohol delivery is only available if you order from the Ascot ValeDoncasterHamptonKaringalNorth Frankston or Sunbury stores, but Red Rooster CEO Nick Keenan says if the trial was successful, the service will be rolled out nationwide in 2019.

“At this stage it’s too early to know exactly what kind of rollout it will be,” Keenan said.

“But it will be subject to strict conditions and what is best for the customers.”
