Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life

There's usually a massive difference between a normal UberEats order and a hungover UberEats order, mainly in that the latter is approximately double the price and size of the former.

But the food delivery legends have revealed that one anonymous Australian somehow managed to place a $1570 order this year, with an exact breakdown of the meal that cost more than some people's rent.

The insane order, coming from Brasserie Entrecôte in Melbourne, consisted of eight gourmet cheeseburgers, seven smoked salmons, seven steak sandwiches, $600 worth of Beluga caviar and a low-key dessert of chevré cheese and six Bombe Alaskas.

Just in case you didn't spend as much time reading your mum's Women's Weekly cookbooks as we did, a Bombe Alaska is ice-cream covered in meringue and baked in the oven.

It is not, we'd imagine, a dessert that travels well.

Unsurprisingly, it's the most expensive UberEats order of 2017 although in more reassuring news, not the most popular.

That particular award went to the humble hot chip, while the most popular time to order came in at 6pm on Friday night.

If you want to check out exactly what went down on your own UberEats this year, there's a personalised "Year with Uber" for all users.
