You know what's a joke? Only being able to buy Chicken McNuggets in a 20-pack.

Not in Japan! Macca's in the Niigata Prefecture has announced a limited-edition bucket of McNuggets, cramming a whopping 48 morsels of deep-fried deliciousness into one large, KFC-like tub.

It's in partnership with a Japanese girl band called NGT48, according to Joyscribe, and customers will also get collectible trading cards with their purchase.

Which is all well and good but the real issue here is WHY don't we have this in Australia?

On the off-chance that we can't get our hands on this promotion here, the deal debuts in Japan on December 1 so you should probably start planning your holiday now.

Or, actually, now that we're thinking about it, you could just go buy four 12-packs of McNuggets at the drive-thru.
