Yes, it's going to be bloody hot today but that's not what we're here to talk about.

Because the only thing that could save us from talking about the weather is free food - or a free drink.

McDonald's have launched their Australia-wide frozen coke giveaway, saving us from boiling over from now until the end of the summer.

Obviously there's a catch, albeit a small one; to redeem your freebie you'll have to buy a large frozen coke and take a photo of the code on the cup.

Next time you're at McDonald's, show your server the screenshot and you'll get yourself a free frozen coke.
