Broken Lizard Confirm Super Troopers 3 Is Already In The Works
Not meow, but not far away.
Broken Lizard, the crew behind the first two Super Troopers films have all but confirmed we'll be copping a third film in the franchise.
Following the surprising financial success of the crowd funded Super Troopers 2 film this year, speaking at Comic Con in San Diego recently, the Broken Lizard crew said they've already started writing a script for a third film.
“We are writing Super Troopers 3: Winter Soldiers right now,” Jay Chandrasekhar, the director of the first two films said.
When quizzed on whether he was being serious on writing and starring in a third Super Troopers film, Chandrasekhar shrugged and said: "Yeah".
Unlike Super Troopers 2, the third film won't require crowd funding from fans, with the sequel going on to make a $30million profit in the US alone.
No word on when we can expect the film to be released as of yet.
