Daniel Craig will return as James Bond once again.
The actor will star in his fifth bond film, slated for an October 2019 release date, with shooting to begin in September.
Craig has backflipped after previously stating he'd rather "slash his wrists" than return as Bond after filming Spectre in 2015.
“I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists," he told Time Out three years ago. "All I want to do is move on."
Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli confirmed Craig's return, as well as the introduction of director Danny Boyle.
"We are delighted to announce that the exceptionally talented Danny Boyle will be directing Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as James Bond in the 25th instalment of the franchise," they said in a statement.
"We will begin shooting Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios [in London] in December."
