FIRST LOOK: Check Out The New Lara Croft From Tomb Raider

Check out these first pics of the brand new Tomb Raider.

Due for release here in 2018, the reboot stars Oscar winner Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, The Danish Girl) in the lead role, and is directed by Roar Uthaug (The Wave).

From what we've read, the new movie introduces us to a 21 year old Lara Croft, and takes us on the journey towards her moniker as the Tomb Raider.

Indeed, the director himself weighed in on making a reboot.

"Being a longtime fan of the game, it’s important to me to honour the Lara Croft legacy and capture that spirit. It’s great to know that there’s such a passionate global fan base for Lara and her world, and our commitment to that will be evident in our movie.”

There’s no hint on when we’ll see a trailer, but if the photos are anything to go by, we’re excited!!!
