It's 17 years since Gladiator was released, but director Ridley Scott has hinted that we might be getting a sequel.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Scott said that he's worked out a way to extend the plot.
Scott has also said that he'd get ol' mate Russell Crowe back for the sequel, which would be news to those who've seen the movie because *spoilers* his character, Maximus, died at the end.
“I know how to bring him back. I was having this talk with the studio — 'but he’s dead'," Scott said.
“Whether it will happen I don’t know.
“Gladiator was 2000, so Russell’s changed a little bit. He’s doing something right now but I’m trying to get him back down here.”
