A few weeks ago we reported that Sylvester Stallone - writer, director and star of the greatest movie franchise of all time, Rocky - was hinting at the return of former foe Ivan Drago for the upcoming sequel to the Oscar nominated Rocky spinoff, Creed.

Well, it seems that Stallone has all but CONFIRMED that news in his latest Instagram post.

Posting an image of a handwritten page of the supposed script for Creed 2, Stallone aptly included a Drago hashtag, all but confirming the news we have all be waiting for.

Drago, played by Swedish actor Dolph Lundrgen, has not been seen on the big screen since suffering defeat in 1985's Rocky IV.

How big of a roulette character will play is still yet to be announced, but seeing as Drago was the man who killed Adonis Creed's father Apollo, you can safely assume that the film will revolve around some form of redemption match between Creed and a member of the Drago clan.

Huge news.
