Legendary actor Liam Neeson has announced his 'unretirement'.

TheĀ 65-year-old and star of Taken announced his plans to hang up the boots on action movies just two weeks ago, wanting to focus on more serious roles.

But it appears he's taken us full circle.

He told Variety at the premier of his new movie Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down The While House reports about the end of his action flick career were no longer correct.

"It's not true, look at me!" he said.

"You're talking in the past tense. I'm going to be doing action movies until they bury me in the ground. I'm unretired."

Neeson stars as Mark Felt in the upcoming film, a whistleblower FBI agent who leaked top secret information about the Watergate scandal to the press in the 1970s.

"This was an incredibly important time in Western history when a president and his team committed criminal acts and the freedom of the press was proven to work," he said.

"Democracy was proven to work, and we have to keep reminding ourselves of that."

Anyway, seems like we'll have more of Neeson finding and killing people yet to come.
