Remember when the most illusionists did was trick people into thinking they were chickens? Good times.

Netflix have announced that they're adding master of manipulation Derren Brown to their Originals line-up, releasing his show The Push on their streaming service at the end of the month.

While it's not actually a brand new flick - The Push originally aired on UK TV a couple of years ago - it's still a super chilling, intriguing social experiment that's worth a watch.

In the show Brown, who has been criticised for his public stunts in the past, has gathered a cast of 70 people to act out a carefully choreographed script that slowly but steadily push his victim, Chris, to commit murder.

"[Brown] exposes the psychological secrets of obedience and social compliance," the programme description reads.

"He expertly lifts the lid on the terrifying truth that, when confronted with authority, our natural instinct is to unflinchingly obey without question - to such an extent that even the most moral people can be made to commit the most horrendous acts, simply because they are told to do so."

The Push drops February 27 and is apparently the first of three Derren Brown specials to hit Netflix this year.
