Stuntwoman Dies On Set Of Deadpool 2

A stuntwoman has died on the set of Deadpool 2 after a motorcycle stunt she was carrying out went terribly wrong.

The stuntwoman has been identified as Brooklyn based professional motorcycle racer Joi “SJ” Harris.

Harris was performing a stunt for actress Zazie Beetz, who plays the superhero Domino in the sequel to the 2016 Marvel flick, when her motorcycle lost control and crashed into a glass window.

Paramedics were promptly on the scene and took the woman to hospital where she later passed away.

Star of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds, who has been heavily promoting his new film on social media, posted a heartfelt note to the woman's friends and family."Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool.

"We're heartbroken, shocked and devastated... but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.

"My heart pours out to them -- along with each and every person she touched in this world".
