If you want to believe the rumours, blockbuster director Christopher Nolan could be taking the reins of the next Bond film.

The creative genius behind The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Dunkirk has already reportedly started working on the film with star Daniel Craig, according to Express in the UK.

"On this occasion, two different sources, one from the United States and the other from the United Kingdom…tell us that Nolan will be the director and that he is already working on the film," the outlet stated.

If Nolan is confirmed as the director of the untitled Bond 25, he will direct Craig in his final turn as 007 after the actor announced that he will return for one final film after earlier stating he would rather "slit his wrists" than star in another Bond film.

Last month the producer of Bond 25 said: “We’ve got the biggest and most important piece in place, which is Daniel [Craig]. I’m very happy that he’s coming back.

“So, to me, that’s the crucial thing… We’ve got our Daniel; we’ve got to find the director. We’re working on the script and we’ll see… Hopefully by the beginning of the year we’ll have more news on all those fronts.”

A Nolan directed Bond film would be incredible to see; fingers crossed it happens.
