The reviews for DC Comic's 'Justice League' are in, and they aren't great...

DC's rival film to Marvel's widely popular Avengers series, hits cinemas around Australia today, but after reading some of these reviews you may want to second guess checking it out this weekend.

Most of the reviews stipulate that Justice League is a marginally better film than Batman vs. Superman, but a movie filmed by your Dad in your backyard would most likely be better than that film...

Vanity Fair described Justice League as  a misguided mess—often feeling entirely unguided—that you want to intervene, softly saying, ‘Stop, stop, you don’t have to do this, stop.'”

The Hollywood Reporter said it was “garishly unattractive to look at” and “simply not fun”, throwing a bunch of superheroes into a mix “that neither congeals nor particularly makes you want to see more of them in future.”

While Variety describe it as “about as close to generic as a sharp-witted high-octane comic-book movie can get."

Mostly everyone agreed that Gal Gadot's portrayal of Wonder Woman held the whole movie together as well as she could, but once again Ben Affleck's turn as Batman has been absolutely canned.

The Hollywood Reported described Affleck as looking like "he’d rather be almost anywhere else but here".

In fact one review even went as far as to suggest that the Lego adaptation of Batman puts in a more humanised performance than Affleck. Ouch.

Warner Brothers will be hoping these reviews don't turn people away from the film after pumping $300 million US into it.
