The most talk about thriller of 2017, Get Out, has made an incredible profit at the box office.

The surprise hit of the year has made an incredible 630% ROI (return on investment).

The directorial debut from comedian Jordan Peele was a hit with critiques and movie-goers worldwide, receiving an incredible 99% review on Rotten Tomatoes.

Made on a modest budget of 4.5million USD, the film has managed to gross a whopping 252.4million USD worldwide.

However the widely successful film falls way short for the highest grossing film of the year; that honour belongs to the live action remake of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

The Emma Watson lead juggernaut has raked in a ridiculous 1.262billion USD worldwide.

However, unlike Get Out, Beauty and the Beast was made on a huge $140million USD budget, meaning the indie-thriller trumps it as the most profitable, and probably the most must-see film of the year.

For the record, 2009's Paranormal Activity is the most profitable film of all time, recording a ridiculous 433,900% ROI.
