Turns out Hollywood hard man Tom Hardy has skills outside of the big screen.

Someone has discovered his rap mixtape from 1999 and it is legitimately good.

Hardy himself has previously stated in a 2011 interview with BBC that he "wasn't very good" at rapping but that there is "loads" of recorded material.

Well someone has loaded up some of that material to website Bandcamp this month under the artist name 'Tommy No 1 + Eddie Too Tall' and Hardy was selling himself short in that interview because his material stands up.

Hardy, most famous for his roles in The Dark Knight, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Revenant, can be heard slinging his cockney accent over some clearly Wu Tang Clang-influenced 90s beat, Hardy aka Tommy No 1 has some serious skill.

We'll keep you posted if Hardy ever gets tired of acting and decides to tour as Tommy No 1 to Australia.
