Yippee Ki NAY: Bruce Willis Has Announced That Die Hard Is NOT A Christmas Movie
Fake news
Die Hard
Fun fact: Bruce Willis is actually the Grinch.
The actor has ruined Christmases the world over after announcing that Die Hard is not a festive movie.
Willis made the shocking - and frankly ridiculous - revelation at a Comedy Central Roast held in his honour over the weekend, which was, coincidentally, also the film's 30th anniversary.
When the 63-year-old was given a chance to respond to the litany of guests who had taken turns to roast him during the event, he decided instead to declare: "Die Hard is not a Christmas movie.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Willis was asked afterwards how he thought fans would react to the news.
"We'll see," he replied.
Willis' Christmas-ruining announcement comes only months after Die Hard writer Steven de Souza confirmed the opposite; in response to a question posed by CNN's Jake Tapper, de Souza appeared to settle the debate once and for all.
It's a bold statement for Willis to make considering that he'll be reprising his role as John McClane again for the sixth Die Hard movie, titled Die Hard: Year One.
And so the debate rages on.
