This is the type of stuff you can't script.

A Norwegian plane has been forced into an emergency landing after serious issues with the onboard toilets.

While it would be very inconvenient for those flying with the airline, the irony of this emergency stop comes within the passengers.

84 plumbers were onboard the flight from Olso, Norway to Munich, Germany.

Chief Executive Frank Olsen, who was actually one of the passengers saw the irony in the situation.

"We would have liked to fix the restrooms but were unable to do so," Olsen told Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.

"Unfortunately it had to be done from the outside and we did not take the opportunity to send a plumber at 10,000 metres."
