Before they've even begun, the Winter Olympics have already broken a world record - distributing the highest amount of free condoms to athletes in Winter Olympics history.

With 2,925 athletes from 92 countries competing in The PyeongChang Games - also another record for the Winter Olympics - organisers wanted to make sure we don't see a global baby boom in nine months time.

The athletes competing in the games have received a grand total of 110,000 condoms - that's one hundred and ten thousand dingers - between 2,925 athletes.

For those playing at home (or in the bedroom), that's 37 frangas PER PERSON!

Condoms at the 2018 Winter Olympics are available at the Olympic Village, the stadiums and at the press centre (in case any commentators want to get their rocks off during the broadcast?).

Temperatures in PyeongChang at this time of year fluctuate from below zero to around 7 degrees, so it's no wonder athletes will be looking for inventive ways to keep warm...
