That's unfortunate

We're actually kind of annoyed at you guys for not giving us the heads-up on this one because it's right up our alley.

A travel company in the UK found themselves with a bit of a PR problem last month when the lovely, simple design for their new planes turned into a rude declaration once the doors were opened.

Thomas Cook were attempting to appeal to a younger audience with their new "I Love Cook's Club" graphic, which was painted along the side of the A321.

Except, once the plane's emergency doors are opened, the writing suddenly becomes "I Love Cock's Club" which, aside from the improper use of an apostrophe, probably isn't the right message to be using to attract the "new generation".

It being 2018, photos of the mishap were quickly spread to Facebook, Twitter and Reddit, with Thomas Cook later confirming that it was, in fact, a genuine mistake.

"It goes without saying it's an accident, but it is one way to highlight where the emergency exit is," a spokesperson said.

The error comes hot on the heels of fellow airline Cathay Pacific sending their new plane down the runway with a metre-high typo, so at least Thomas Cook are in good company.
