The population of the American state of Nevada has outdone itself at the midterm elections, electing a a dead brothel owning reality TV star to its Legislative Assembly.

Dennis Hof was found dead on October 16 after a weekend partying to celebrate his 72nd birthday, but that didn’t stop the voters of Nevada electing him with nearly 70% of the vote.

Hof was found dead by porn actor Ron Jeremy and a prostitute at his Love Ranch brothel an hour so outside Las Vegas after four days of partying, according to the ABC News.

The cause of his death is unknown, but police do not suspect foul play.

Hof owned brothels in Nevada — the only US state where they are legally allowed to operate — and starred in am HBO reality show called Cathouse.

He also authored a book called “The Art Of The Pimp”, the name of which is an homage to Donald Trump’s “The Art Of The Deal”.

Hof — who beat Democrat Lesia Romanov — will be replaced by another Republican in the state assembly.
