Australian's will soon be able to get through British immigration a bit quicker upon arrival.
Aussie passport holders will soon be able to use the ePassport gates when arriving in the UK, which makes getting through immigration a hell of a lot easier and quicker.
The announcement comes as part of the United Kingdom's 2018 Budget, as revealed yesterday by Chancellor to the Exchequer Philip Hammond.
Along with Australian passport holders, travellers from the US, Canada, New Zealand and Japan will also be able to use the ePassport gates.
George Brandis, Australia's High Commission to the UK, has praised the move.
This means no more elongated waiting queues, annoying questions from immigration officers, and more time to enjoy the weather of tropical locations like Stratford-upon-Avon.
