Talk about being a loyal fan.

One bloke in Turkey has completely beat the system, hiring a crane to ensure he could watch his team after a stadium ban.

The fan of Turkish soccer club Denizlispor was handed a one-year stadium ban, preventing him from catching his team play, according to local media.

His solution? Don't enter the stadium then.

So he hired a crane, taking it next door and escalating himself up so he could see the whole pitch.

"That match was very important for our team (Denizlispor)," he was quoted as saying.

"I had to go to the police station to sign a paper to show that I am not watching the match in the stadium. Then I quickly went to rent the crane."

He only got up late in the piece - the game was 75 minutes in and he was asked to come down before the game finished - but who cares? This is great.

His team won 5-0, but this man recorded a bigger win over stadium authorities.
