Bloke Gets Stabbed In The Back While Drinking, Keeps On Partying

Some people are that bloody keen they'll do anything to party.

Like not going to hospital even though there's a massive knife sticking out of your spine.

That's what happened to one Brazilian bloke who was having a good time when things went awry.

22-year-old Elionardo Nascimento was on the piss when he got himself involved in a bar fight, in which one man drew a knife and plunged it into his back.

Nascimento was in shock ot the point where he didn't even know the blade was sticking out of him, millimetres from his spinal cord.

"I had just come out of the pub to talk to some friends and was standing around outside with a drink in my hand, when a guy ran up, stabbed me in the back and ran off," he said.

"I didn't even see him approach. I just felt a punch in my back which nearly knocked me off my feet. 

"I was a bit confused as to what had just happened and when a friend took a look and told me I had a knife in my back, I couldn't believe it."

Nascimento calmly sat around outside the pub with the knife in his back while he waited for medical attention.

Surgeons said the knife missed his spinal column by millimetres and missed all vital organs, and he is working towards making a full recovery.

'We were surprised to find the victim alert and not panicking. His composure certainly helped him to stay alive," detective Karlesso Nespoli said.
