This is a legit story.

China wants to crack down on strippers performing at funerals to attract more crowds.

The practice of hiring exotic dancers to perform at funerals is a ritual used by families in rural China to increase numbers at a loved one's farewell.

The government issued a statement last week stating it was targeting stripteases and other "obscene, pornographic and vulgar performances".

They've even set up a dedicated hotline for people to ring up and dob in friends and family that have organised a strip tease at a funeral.

"The crowd is pushed to climax, roaring with laughter, whistling, applauding and cursing," state media said.

"As the performers saunter into the audience to jiggle their breasts and rub men's crotches, a reminder of 'no photographs allowed' can occasionally be heard."

Talk about a nanny state!

We don't know about you, but nothing says "they lived a good life" like blasting Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' while a stripper dances over your casket.
