A demolition crew in Denmark are presumably searching the classifieds for new job prospects this morning after an attempted demolition went horribly wrong.

The 173-foot concrete silo tower was due to be blown up in the Danish town of Vordingborg on Friday, with crowds of people gathering to watch the demolition.

Unfortunately, rather than collapsing as it should have, the tower instead careened off to the side, crashing into a nearby library.

Unbelievably, no-one was injured, although that library's probably going to need some work.

You can actually watch the exact moment the "experts" got it wrong in a video taken by bystander Tom Andersen, which was later posted to YouTube.
