The Winter Olympics is rife with opportunities for Aussie commentators to stuff up, with the events and competitors all having alien names to us.

It was a slightly less difficult word that Channel 7 anchor Hamish McLachlan slipped over though.

Hamish was trying to explain the structure of the men’s ski halfpipe finals β€” each competitor gets three runs but only the best run counts toward the score β€” and stumbled on probably the worst possible word you can imagine.
