It's thought to be one of the rarest and most sought after Supercars in the world.

It's the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere and it's about to be driven in anger here in Australia.

What? Where? How? You're asking?

It's the $4 million Aston Martin Vulcan.

Just 24 of these suckers have been built worldwide.

Aussie businessman and racer Tony Quinn was one of the lucky bastards to snap one up and he's going to bring his pride and joy to Adelaide for a fang at next month's Clipsal 500.

Quinn's so protective of this wheels that he's only allowed one other driver to take the wheel and that's V8 great Craig Lowndes.

But he's also raised $150,000 for charity by cutting some hot laps with those willing to donate some cash for a turn in the passenger seat.

The Vulcan boasts a seven-litre V12 engine, a six-speed sequential gearbox and we're told it handles a bit like a GT3 car, hitting top speeds of 320km/h.
