If you’ve ever wanted to hear what it sounds like when several hundred make the “OOH-WAH-AH-AH-AH!” sound from the intro of Disturbed’s seminal 2000 nu-metal classic Down With The Sickness, next weekend is your chance.

A Facebook event is urging people to get to Federation Square in Melbourne’s CBD next Saturday to pull off a coordinated attempt at the noise, with currently around 900 people attending and over 4000 interested.

It’s been a big week for Disturbed, with front man David Draiman revealing that he dropped his chin ring things because he felt too old for them, and their new album set to come out tomorrow.
