A group of Indian villagers got slightly more than they bargained for when they mistakenly believed a meteor like object had dropped from the sky onto their village.

The object landed with such force that it reportedly created a hole around 30 cm deep in a wheat field.

Some villagers got so excited, they collected fragments of said 'meteor' to take home... when this happened...

It turns out that modern planes use a sophisticated vacuum system that sucks waste into an on-board septic tank, which is then obviously disposed of upon landing.

Some older planes still operating use a blue liquid that deodorises the waste and creates a block of 'blue ice'. They then reportedly dump said block upon descending to land.

Obviously, the village encountered an older plane ;)
