John Krasinski says he's keen to return to a revival of The Office, but admits he hasn't been asked yet.

NBC is working to reboot the much-loved TV series, with many of the show's stars - save for Steve Carell as Michael Scott - reportedly lined up to return.

TVLine reported in December that the reboot would star new and old cast members, and once again be set in Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch.

Krasinski admits, though, that he hasn't been asked yet, hearing about the show's reboot "on the Internet".

“Guess who didn’t get a call? Me,” he told Ellen.

“What does that say? NBC is like ‘You know who we didn’t like? Jim!'”

Despite not being contacted, Krasinski is up and about for reuniting the team.

“I haven’t gotten a call yet,” he said.

“Oh my god, are you kidding? I would love to. I’d love to get that gang back together.”

A reboot of The Office has already been backed by fellow stars Ed Helms and Angela Kinsey, who play Andy Bernard and Angela Martin respectively.
