"Are You Pulling My Leg?"

The New Zealand First political party have had an absolute 'mare.

The protectionist political party has used an image from the Fake Taxi porn series on its Wellington Central Facebook page.

"Fake Taxi" is a well-known series of porno that takes place in a taxi and usually involves a female passenger having sex with the male driver as payment.

The meme in question was created by an NZ First staffer as a political message against the National Party, seemingly unaware as to the X-Rated nature of the screenshot.

The meme says "When National claims the current student loan system is working" and includes a photo of a woman in a taxi with the question "are you pulling my leg?".

Jack Gradwell, NZ First Wellington Central campaign manager, told Newshub a page admin "found the meme on another page and posted it without knowing the source". It was then removed by another admin.

Naturally, as the internet works, the mistake was picked up immediately and shared on Reddit before being removed from the political party’s Facebook page.

Talk about stiff.
