People Are Planning To Protest The New Snapchat Update At Federation Square

The new Snapchat hit phones in Australia during the week, and it’s fair to say people were pissed.

The layout completely changed, with stories moving from its own tab on the right to be part of the main tab on the left.

The changes have so irked someone in Melbourne that they’ve set up a Facebook event to protest them at Federation Square in the heart of the city.

The event — called ‘Protesting at federation square until snapchat changes the update’ — is scheduled to take place at 1pm next Saturday the 20th of January.

The event details read ‘We will riot until the update gets changed back’ probably suggests it’s the not most well-thought out process.

But with 4.3k going and 9.2k interested at the time of publication they must have hit a nerve.
