We hate to be the ones to tell you this but Corey Worthington AKA the 18-year-old who accidentally invited half of Australia to his birthday party is going to be all over your television in 2018.

The yellow sunnies-wearing party boy is tipped to be taking part in the next season of Australian Ninja Warrior, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that a colleague let the news slip a long time before he should have.

"Corey Worthington... He was on Big Brother and in December he will be on Ninja Warrior," the Facebook post is purported to have read.

"Good luck mate, have fun, u got this mate."

Obviously, since this is all supposed to be on the down-low, Channel 9 have declined to comment but the casting call times seem to tee up with Worthington's mate's timeline.

The application form, which has now closed, still stipulates that potential contestants "must be available for a period of up to three weeks from 1st December - 21st December 2017."

If Worthington is, in fact, going to be competing, he won't be the only familiar face on Ninja Warrior next year; Lisa Wilkinson's son Louis is also rumoured to be taking part.
