Some poor bloke's had an expensive day out exploring Fraser Island.

Taking to the sand dunes of the Queensland Island, the driver rolled his Range Rover while driving over the sand dunes of Rainbow Beach on Tuesday.

Unhurt but also unable to get assistance to flip the vehicle back over, the Rover was finally rescued on Wednesday, but only after succumbing to the beach's tide water and sinking further into the sand.

It was eventually removed with an excavator and a truck but unfortunately the car was an absolutely totalled.
