A woman who attempted to steal a package from a front doorstep has received some instant karma, snapping her leg while trying to get away.
The woman was spotted by security cameras in Snohomish County, Washington, hopping out of her accomplice's car and nicking the package that had been placed on the doorstep.
Her escape didn't go to plan, though, as she slipped and snapped her leg on the way back.
Unable to get up, her accomplice had to jump out and carry her - and the stolen goods - back to their car.
Police are investigating the theft, which was meant for homeowner Lizeth Ababneh, containing medication for her husband.
Guess they'll be checking any medical records for a broken leg.
So nope. Crime doesn't pay.
