Forget Jason Gillespie, Warwick Capper or Jason Donovan; Australia has a new mullet king, and he's only nine years old!

Baird Garrett, from Onslow in north-west WA, has been turning heads with this luscious mop of golden locks.

But not only has Baird provided Australia, if not the World, with the greatest haircut we've ever seen, it's all for a great cause, with the young fella growing his hair out for charity.

Baird was continually getting stopped in the street by strangers asking for a selfie, so the young entrepreneur had the smart idea of starting to charge people $5 for a photo, with all the proceeds going towards his Hair With Heart campaign.

His mum Renee told The West Australian that Baird was hoping to raise $24,000 before September next year, when he'll cut his mullet off to donate his hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.

If you want to donate to the little legend's cause, you can access Baird's Hair with Heart fundraising page here.
