Two sisters have sued the airline that forced them from a flight after a fight broke out thanks to a passenger who wouldn't stop farting.

A story broke a few days ago about a passenger breaking wind on a Transavia Airlines flight from Dubai to Amsterdam.

The passenger was asked to stop farting, but wouldn't, causing a fight to break out between passengers and the plane to divert and land in Vienna.

Four people were kicked off the flight at Vienna, including two sisters, who claim they did nothing wrong and were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

De Telegraaf reported the sisters were now suing the budget airline after being forced to divert.

"We had nothing to do with the whole disturbance. We distance ourselves from that. Do they sometimes think that all Moroccans cause problems? That’s why we do not let it sit," one of the women said.

"We had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row, and we didn’t do anything."

A Transavia Airlines spokesperson told AOL they were backing in the conduct of their crew on the flight.

"We stand behind our crew, who has been trained to prevent misconduct," he said.

"There are clear guidelines for this. The limits have been exceeded here. We filed a declaration in the Netherlands. It is possible that the costs of the unscheduled landing will also be recovered from them and that they will be blacklisted.

"We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to this kind of amok makers."
