An expert on South Korea has found out the hard way how fraught with danger doing live TV work from home can be.

Dr. Robert E. Kelly — whose Twitter account says he’s Professor of Political Science at Pusan National University in South Korea — was doing a live cross from his home office on the recent impeachment of the South Korean president Park Guen-hye for the BBC when his kids decided they wanted some of dad’s attention.

When his older daughter comes strutting in early on Dr Kelly maintains his composure and continues talking, trying to push her out of shot as the presenter noticed it.

But the humour aspect then ramps up as a younger child in a stroller comes floating into the scene, followed by a frantic woman — either the nanny or mother — who snatches the kids and drags them out.

Check out the hilarious video here:

To his credit he handled it well, even if he was perhaps naive as to how big it would get:

Our advice to the doctor: get used to seeing this clip (and maybe lock the door in future).

And we still didn’t get to find out what it means for the wider region.
